Sylvana Garcia, APN-BC, is a bilingual psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Psychiatric Arts of New Jersey. With more than a decade of experience in the field—both as a psychiatric registered nurse and as a nurse practitioner—she brings deep expertise and compassion to her practice.

 

She has a strong focus on women’s mental health, with particular expertise in postpartum care, supporting women through the unique emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood.

 

Sylvana recognizes that every individual has a unique story, set of challenges, and perspective that shape their mental health. Her mission is to enhance her patients’ quality of life through active listening, empathetic care, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
